Created and manufactured in the UK by our friends at Radical Tea Towel, this May Day tea towel features a design by artist and book illustrator Walter Crane. The illustration was featured in the socialist newspaper The Clarion in 1895.
Throughout his prolific career, Crane produced an array of paintings, illustrations, children's books, ceramic tiles and other decorative arts. He was associated with the Arts & Crafts movement and the socialist movement of the late 19th century, using his art to inspire workers.

Materials: Half Panama unbleached cotton (heavy weight, textured finish), stitched on all four sides and includes hanging loop, machine wash at 40 degrees max
